Game On, every game matters

Read on for a link to share with team managers and captains to support them in getting games played

As the 2022/2023 season approaches, we want to let you know about an even more flexible Game On framework being introduced this season to help clubs keep games on and reduce cancellations. We know the start of the season can be a great time to reintroduce players into the game, or you might have seen players coming back after the summer but don’t yet have a full 15.

We appreciate having a full 15 is often preferred. When this isn’t possible, however, you can still get your games played using Game On, providing you have a minimum of ten players. So, there’s no need to cancel or postpone games. You can agree with your opposition to use Game On options, to make sure players can play and keep coming back for more.

There have been some changes to Game On this season meaning it works better for all players. These include the option to play with a maximum 1.5 m push, in addition to the existing contested or uncontested scrums. You can also change the pitch size and game duration to suit the needs of your players.

As an added incentive, Game On games count towards clubs’ international ticket allocation, as any game played using Game On is treated like a normal 15-a-side game. By using the link below, you can receive more details around Game On to help promote it.
