New initiative: MadRefs Club Praise

Jonny Cartwright, with help and creativity from Morgan Sparke, is starting a new feature on the socials called “MadRefs Club Praise”.

As Jonny explained, “Each Monday (hopefully) a different club /team will feature in an Instagram post similar to this one.

The intention is to highlight the positives and hope clubs aspire to be featured. It is also an attempt at recognising the numerous examples where clubs/teams/players really do support and advocate for referees.

There will be a vetting process carried out by a few of us, who see the whole picture of the club through referee feedback forms etc. I imagine we will have more nominations than we have capacity for. However, please do feel free to share your positive example with @Sparkey for us to consider. Please don’t be disheartened if yours is not featured, I’m sure we will get round to it.”
