The RFRU will be hosting an update webinar on Monday 13th January 2025 at 19.00.

Discipline Conference

 The RFRU will be hosting a Discipline Conference for Referees Societies with the RFU on Sunday 2nd March 2025. The venue is to be confirmed but will be in the Midlands. The agenda will include:

  1. Disciplinary Processes
  2. Report Writing and Evidence
  3. Working with Clubs and CBs
  4. Approaches to MOA
  5. Proactive strategies

Each society can send up to two delegates and we would recommend the Disciplinary Lead to be one.

Election of Officers of the RFRU

In accordance with Articles 19, 22, 23, 24 and 25 of the RFRU Articles of Association, I hereby request nominations for the officers and directors of the RFRU for 2025/26.

  • The officers are the Chair, Vice Chair, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer.
  • The officers will be elected for three years.
  • The elected directors will be elected for one year.
  • There are up to four elected directors on the Board.

In accordance with Article 27 of the RFRU Articles of Association, nominations must be proposed and seconded by Voting Members of the RFRU. Nomination proposals and seconding of nominations must be with me – Dr Adam White (ajw@rfru.co.uk) – by 1700 on Tuesday 7th January 2025.

Any necessary elections will then be held so that the results can be announced at the RFRU AGM in June 2025 (09.30 to 15.00) at Broadstreet RFC.
