Club Membership Fees and Referees Expenses – New Approach

John Pemberton, Honorary Treasurer, announced at the December meeting the Society’s intention to introduce a new way for charging annual club membership fees and paying referees’ travel expenses.

The new approach is to take effect from the start of next season and will bring the Society into line with many other referee societies in England.

In explaining the purpose of introducing the changes, John said “It will be a fairer way to charge clubs, ensure referees are reimbursed as entitled and streamline the Society’s finance processes”.
